Hi Jessica, this is a well written piece. Thank you for writing this. I am a Singaporean living in a multi-racial society. I grew up knowing there are differences in terms of our physical outlook but it does not stop us from having a meal together. Sure, I know racism too. Look, I have been to Australia and the U.S. for work. Every country is proud of their heritage and lineage, and IT TAKES HUMILITY AND WORK to stay there. Xenophobia, discrimination, racism takes away what we work hard to achieve. Think about our future generations before we act stupidly by eroding our forefather's efforts.
