Hmm. There are too many what-ifs in this story, and humility is not factored in, plus a chance of a rematch. I don't know, but if I am that famed rabbit, there is no chance I am letting my guard down the next round. And in fact... I will give my 'opponent', so to speak, my best performance. As weird as it sounds, I actually think this is the best form of respect to the person standing beside us.

It does not matter whether Santa Claus or Rhinoceros is standing beside me. When the gun goes, we do our best.

There really is no race. There really is respect to the competition, and to ourselves.
