I was a consultant for the first 10 years of my career, after graduation. I lived life on slides too. Fonts were the tip of an iceberg. We need bullets, flowcharts, visuals, conquer the world strategy, how we win, how we will not screw up, why we are better than others, why the price you pay is the best value there is you will ever get in the marketplace.

However... unlike your sacrosanct Saturdays, I work on Saturdays too. I always subscribe to the believe that duty calls. These days... I've learned to put the office phone aside and bury myself in books or out there running.

With age comes maturity (I guess).
