This is a very thoughtful response, Steven! I have been fascinated by brains for the longest time and I really wonder if our brains only consume glucose, given there are so many different forms of naturally occurring sugar in nature. This sets me to do my own research online, and this is what I found. You might be right, that our bodies produces sugar for our consumption and that has been proven. For me, the fascination remains. Does our brain eat anything beyond glucose and oxygen?? Haha. Thank you!
