This is my complete and utter bias, and I will go my my grave with this answer...

I think it is way better to be on the financial offense than defense while we still can.

The future is uncertain, as it always is, and we will eventually fall back to what we have accumulated during our younger years.

Keep pushing the edges of your capability.

As much as this is a cliche, I think.... work harder, better, and faster can help... of course, please consider your circumstances when doing so, if you are doing so.
